The Workman is a podcast provided by the Hillcrest church of Christ in Waynesburg, PA. Our weekly services are Sunday Worship at 10:30AM. We are glad to welcome each visitor at 40 Johnson Lane, Waynesburg PA where all will be our honored guests.
Actions Speak Louder Than Words

God’s word always shows that one who believes in Him follows Him. Jesus said, “If ye love me, keep my commandments.” (Jn 14:15) The apostle John said, “He that saith, I know him, and keepeth not his commandments, is a liar, and the truth is not in him.” (I Jn 2:4) The Christian is represented as one who believes and obeys continually as if living a new life. Paul states, “even so we also should walk in newness of life.” (Rom 6:4) The sinner must participate in his initial salvation, and then continue in active and obedient service. He has crucified the “old man” and has become a “servant of righteousness.” (Rom 6:6, 18) This new relationship and state begins with the sinner’s primary obedience, baptism. (Rom 6:3-6) Therefore, true faith in God is one that obeys.
This week let's discuss why we must let our actions speak louder than our words.
